Upon seeing the cover and the title, I was immediately intrigued. On reading the synopsis, I knew that this was a book for me. A book tackling not only racial issues - something so, sadly, prevalent in today’s society - but the struggles of coming out, especially with such a background. Reading the first look drew me in even more. I adore the writing style and can already tell that it is going to be a hard hitting yet humorous novel - how that is possible, I’ll never understand. I guess it takes a brilliant author!
