I mean, finally. We have LGBTQ characters in a Rom-Com novel, we meet Amir, an Iranian Muslim, struggling to find the balance between his sexuality, and his religious roots.

"Muslims and
gay people are about as incompatible as Amish people and
Apple products."

Amir, has just started a new school, and seemingly worried about fitting in, I assume it's a pretty white dominated school, but he meets Jackson, and things start to seem on the up... That is, until the blackmail starts. Armed with evidence of Amir's hidden life, Jake looks to exploit Amir for all he can. Amir has nowhere to turn, until the idea hatches, he jumps on a flight.

Right now, he's being interrogated, following a family feud on the journey home.

I think this is the kind of story 2020 needs, in a time racism and prejudice is at the forefront of the minds of the people, this book looks to explore those issues and what these people face, if we can learn to celebrate our differences in literature, maybe we can in real life...

I'm desperate to uncover Amir's story
