Wow! Immediately I was drawn in by the colourful cover of this book. It was eye catching and immediately gave me an indication that this book was going to follow a minority protagonist. The premise of this novel is inspiring and I certainly wanted to pick it up and start reading immediately from reading the synopsis/blurb. The prologue was fantastic, immediately catching my attention by addressing stereotypes in a candid way. The fact that the protagonist is so used to such assumptions is devastating!
