The storyline is so relevant on so many counts - Muslim, Gay and in America. I remember 9/11 so well and can only imagine what the family felt like to be in that situation. It is refreshing to see a book that delves into the world of being young and gay and the ramifications of that in life. I feel this could be relevant to so many young people today and can help to broaden horizons for all!
