This book grips you from the very first line "I'm not a terrorist, i'm gay". It makes you wonder where the story is for that to be point, and honestly the rest of the chapter delivers on that. The writing style is so engaging and easy to read that you can't help but want more. As well as that, Amir seems like a fun and relatable character, and we have to love seeing a character actually run away instead of facing their problems. I'm excited to see what the rest of the book brings!
