Touching, Hillarious and Real
My immediate thought when reading this first impression was just how engaging and genuinely funny it was - I haven't actually laughed out loud at a book in a while but this one had me howling. Ahmadi creates such a real and engaging character that you don't have any choice but to keep reading.
I must admit, I haven't read many book about a gay Muslim, so it was a new one to me when I first read about this book! But I think that just highlights the need to open up a world so rarely seen by the masses.
The cover looks like it's going to be young adult fiction or something along those lines, but after reading the first few pages I realised it was much more than your typical YA novel.
