With the ever changing modern world it is important that the younger generation have stories that are relavent to what they go through. Addressing issues such as homophobia, racism, and islamaphobia, never has this been more needed than in 2020. While it is a young adult book it is clear that everyone should read this book not just for the important issues but also just for the story and the heartwarming tale that lies beneath the seriousness.
The writing is done very well and the cover portrays the moderness and youngess within the story. The characters and believeable and down to earth that people can relate to people you know, and the family relationships that people have.
