I enjoyed this book and read it fairly quickly as it is not that long. I got into the story and liked the way the short chapters moved between the different narratives.
The story goes back a few weeks to lead up to the events that happen on the plane, and because of this it made me want to keep reading on to find out what was going to happen at the end.
We see Amir in Rome and follow his journey meeting new people, having nights out and learning more about himself in the process. I liked the characters and thought that they all added something to Amir’s journey.
I also liked the writing style as I warmed to Amir immediately and throughout reading the book I was hoping for everything to work out for him.
