From the start this book quickly demonstrates its voice in a unique and highly personalised way. A look into a modern telling of a story felt by many and seen by few, this book offers humorous and blunt look into the mind of Amir, a young man coming to the world of his own.

Thrust straight into the action we are thrown new characters and scenarios which we fumble our way out of as the action ensues.

The use of "Ten Months Ago" personally, I think can go either way. This is handled well in its way of pulling us in, though is mildly infuriating when one is only just getting to the pinnacle of action, only to be given more facts and background from our main character.

Overall I am interested to read this book and the way it progresses and deals with the issues of our era and beyond.
