I think this book has a way of immediately drawing you in. Reading the blurb is enough to peak your interest, and then the opening sentence, which is conversation-like and launches straight into an interesting dialogue, makes you want to continue reading. we want to discover more about Amir and his struggles, with his sexuality, religion, family, and generally as he is figuring out his place in society. These important issues being explored in an interrogation setting is very interesting, as it almost turns the stereotype back on itself. I personally loved the cover on this book, as i think it represents the book perfectly and makes you want to pick it up. I think this book is an important read and could be relatable and comforting to a lot of young people facing similar issues to the main character, or any issue in general. Overall would recommend!
