Wow I absolutely loved this book. I read it so quickly as I just loved it so much. It really highlighted the struggles that some people may face when coming out to their families, and how different family members may react - but not only that, it highlighted just how difficult this was in particular due to the families culture and beliefs. It really highlighted the struggles that individuals are facing! It wrote about these problems in such a good way and really did make you want to keep picking up the book. I love books that highlight important topics such as this one
I loved the main character so much, I felt so many emotions for him and just wanted to give him a hug 😭. I loved Amir's sister too - the kindness and support she showed to Amir just melted my heart. That's the type of family member everybody deserves and needs!! So loving and kind.
