So far the book seems to be amazing, it entrapped me from the very beginning. Having the book be diverse written by a diverse author is more needed in today’s age.
The author drew inspiration from his own life being a gay Muslim, in the book after the main character gets in a fight with his family on an airplane (due to the fact that he is gay) they get put into a holding area and get interrogated. This book already is showing the injustice minorities go through.
The authors writing style is quick pace and fun. He gives a little bit of humor to the situation but without making it be a big joke. This will most definitely be a must read and a need for everyone’s bookshelf.
I will be ordering my own copy.
