Reyna is visiting and becoming more involved with Boyd, a prisoner on Rikers' Island. Her aunt Kiki is worried about her niece but does not know the full extent of Reyna's involvement. This book starts well, sounds interesting. The cover is beautiful - I would definitely pick it up in a book shop just on the first look at the cover.
