I have just finished this book and am still unsure what to make of it. It starts off very well with Reyna and her son Oliver, Reyna's boyfriend is in prison and he draws her into his criminal activities. The book then moves onto Reyna's Aunt Kiki and her life and subsequent marriage in Turkey, Kiki marries a Turkish man but when they have to move to a remote farm you get the impression that Kiki is possibly bored and toys with the idea of going off on an adventure. At the start of the book you get the impression that there is going to be a big mystery surrounding Kiki's life in Turkey and I was a little disappointing that there really wasn't. I expected the book to join up all the life stories and in a way it did but not in the way I expected, I felt that there wasn't a clear ending to it.
