I read this book over 2 days and I enjoyed the way it was written. The characters, I felt I could relate to and I could easily decide whether I liked or disliked them...

Kiki ,the main character really, seemed to be full of mystery and secrets that I hoped would become more clear towards the end of the book but didn't.

Reya her niece, needed a kick up the backside for the life choices she made when she had a young son to take care of.

There were deaths, strange travelling stories, betrayals, threats and strange half soaked romances. It became clearer as the story developed around Kiki and her niece that all of these things and the people involved were intertwined and related in some way. I felt that some of the links were a bit too confusing however, and had to re read parts.

Overall an enjoyable read.
