I'm torn on my opinion of this book. On the one hand I read it in one sitting and I did enjoy it. However on the other hand, i spent too much of my time reading it trying to figure out who the characters were and how they related to each other. I found myself confused as to who each paragraph was referring to. To me it felt like there were far too many intertwining characters with no explanation of who each one was and why they were important to the story.
I was expecting a story about someone's struggles with visiting a loved one in prison, as the blurb suggests, however this plot line was only there for a couple of chapters. Overall it wasn't a bad book but disappointing and not what I expected.
