The cover of this book gives nothing away which is sometimes a good thing as it makes you want to discover the pages.
Aunt Kiki and Reyna, their stories link with your own life as you discover how they wanted to wander further afield and discover new places and cultures. But with cigarette smuggling there is a bad side to Reyna's life in the form of a boyfriend who doesn't want to settle down and let go of his bad boy lifestyle. But with a small child what is she to do ? She loves him yet knows this way of life cannot be good for her and her child and cannot surely have a happy ending.
For the most part this story dragged on and on and on ........I couldn't see a way this book could ever be a best seller ...........or that I could ever want to read it again in the future........definately not a book for me
