I really enjoyed the first impression, and therefore chose to be entered into the draw for this book, but I'm afraid to say I did not finish it.
Although the characters were well crafted and supportive of each other, I found it harder and harder to work through the family politics and enjoy the story. I feel the characters were too heavily place within the text and therefore were overpowering.
Whilst I didn't enjoy it myself, it was at no fault of the writing style or plot - it just wasn't for me.
