Seeing this book in the shop I probably would not pick it up yet after being sent it for review I was definitely intrigued by something particularly unusual for me... And I really enjoyed it. Through a series of stories spanning from 1970 to 2012 I felt a really connection and a clearly interesting outlook on human connection through these various stories. Each of these present a thoughtful view on the chain effect and how similar we are as ordinary people in society. I loved the detail throughout and the characters were truly believable. I very much, unexpectedly, enjoyed this book so I will think twice about what book I might buy in the shop next time. Maybe I'll find something unexpected like I did in this one!
