At first I struggled with this and stopped a couple of times and went back to it but really glad that I didn’t give up as it is a good story.
It is done in the form of a lot of stories that do interconnect in time and the time range is from the 1970’s to 2012.
Choices made within these stories can change whole dynamics as to how things will flow throughout the years.
The first of the stories start off with Reyna who is a single mum and struggling, her boyfriend, Boyd is doing a three month sentence for drug smuggling and as time goes on Reyna starts to wonder if this will be happening again when he is released and will she get drawn into something similar to keep him.
A really good read and some nice humour to break it up as well, would recommend
