I was absolutely devastated with how much I did not enjoy this story. I felt this story had a crazy amount of drama and suspense that did not naturally pay off. The premise involves a woman in love with the father of her children, but he is completely deranged and supremely dangerous. Her aunt is involved, strangely, which gives us insight into our main character that she wouldn't provide for herself. I felt that in all of this, the pay off just wasn't worth the read. I felt the writing style was very frenzied and over the top, which did not make for a settling read. I felt that this would be very well executed as a play, but as a book it was extremely redundant. I felt that I had to struggle to finish it.
