I watched the TV series with enjoyment. I didn't even realise it derived from a book. So the idea of this story is most appealing. I guess I will be familiar with the characters from the start and the premise of a fallen Spitfire whilst not unfamiliar in war tales will be interesting within the context of these characters and how they deal with the situation.
