I like the cover of this book although first thought was ‘another war time love story’, but reading this book changed my mind.
Set in 1940s and start of 2nd world war, the start is of Pat seeing a crashed plane in the little town. Unsure where this goes it then goes back a few weeks and sets the story.
Meeting all the characters and their backgrounds along with the local WI and how the react with each other.
I really enjoyed the first few chapters of this book and will be looking for this one when it comes out.
