This isn't just another young adult school 'flick' but a much more gritty and terrifying account of life in the modern era. The protagonist is said to have 'waited half his life for a story' but there is clearly a lot more to his backstory than is immediately apparent.

There is something awfully voyeuristic about him, as he capitalises on tragic events, prioritising his own journalistic curiosities. And it all feels very much like a tabloid sketch of proceedings, written in language so clipped and dynamic that we are left yearning for something more thoughtful.

When Harry gets out a video editing app, post-explosion, mid-chaos, all sense of reality is gone. This is a high octane action piece which doesn't seem to inhabit the real world despite its 21st century social media sensibilities.
