I know they say "never judge a book by its cover" but I definitely did exactly that before reading this book. I was also excited by the synopsis, which promised a book about a dystopian future with a sci-fi feel. What I actually got was more of a teen romance (and an inappropriately sexualised one at that).

I could describe this book as one that is trying too hard to force funny moments that just weren't there, although that seems like a bit of a harsh description. The book also jumps forward in time every so often, which I found rather annoying.

However, I suppose if I had been reading this a few years ago when I was younger I might have enjoyed it significantly more. That being said, I won't be recommending it to anyone.
