This book is a very good on the themes of genetic modification, crime gangs and deadly viruses. It is very different to the CHERUB series, also by this author, but in my opinion it is just as fast-paced and action packed. It is a great novel and I would highly recommend it. The characters are well developed and the story is engaging and the story-line is unpredictable and keeps you on the edge of your seat, I couldn't put it down. Having several key characters was a very good aspect as it made you not quite know how the pieces of the story were going to fit together. Having time gaps between chunks of the story helped a reader get a feel of how different decisions affected the characters in the long term as well as the short. All in all, a really good read!
