This is a book I finished within a couple of days. It hooked me from the start with its main characters Harry and Charlie and their changing relationship. However, this book felt very current and and the concepts of gene editing and viruses creation, was the thing that hooked me as they all feel plausible at this moment in time. What I found interesting about this book is the way it spans 10 years, yet it all seamlessly links together.
The writing style is similar to Robert Muchamore's other books and therefore made it easy to read and follow. While the ideas within this book could have been complicated it is written in a way that is simple to understand.
Although I found his other work (Cherub series) more to my liking this is a simple and easy one off book that I enjoyed and would recommend.
