Robert Muchamore has done it again. I sat down to read this thinking it would be a nice mellow book to distract me from these troubling times. His book quite frankly was like a drug. I was hooked from the first page. I have always been a sucker for a two perspective book and this one was a perfect cocktail of love, regret and pain. By the end of the book i felt like i personally knew the characters and i would feel angry at their mistakes and proud of them when they flourished. This book although written in 2018 had a scary likeness to the current pandemic and after i finished the last page i sat back and thought about the book. It is a heartbreaking story but is told in such a way that you feel as if you are there in the moment. This book may make you cry as i did but it will teach you a very valuable lesson, tomorrow is not granted. This book was the book i did not know i needed. Five stars all around.
