This is a tense and chilling read, which I enjoyed immensely. I loved the stark cover, and also how the chapters alternate between "now" and "then." I was immediately drawn into the story, and would be interested to learn how and why Zoe came to be manipulated by, and totally under the spell of, her awful, controlling husband.
