I was instantly drawn to the cover of this one and it looked intriguing from the synopsis.
I have never read this author before but it a really strong opening: atmospheric, creepy and intriguing. It quickly introduces several characters and establishes that something both deadly and ghoulish is happening.
Lovely crisp clean writing that vividly captures the story and setting.
