When I saw the cover of this book, I assumed it was going to be a war-based action novel, which I'm still sure it is. It does extend, however, into a murder mystery that I was not expecting. I'm intrigued as to how this book walks this line and would be interested to see how the two time periods and genres overlap in Bill's life.
