From the cover i thought it was going to be a submarine romp, but turns out that's only a small part of the back story. Once the history has been dealt with we are taken to a family gathering with the historian digging away into the events aboard the sub, then the extract ends with him getting nowhere. So far so mediocre, it was only when i went back to read the synopsis i saw that he was murdered not long after that meeting. So who killed him, and why? Obviously related to his digging, not sure i am that bothered to find out any more though.
