The prologue to the book had me gripped. It was set in the 1980's in a submarine which has just been given instructions to launch nuclear missiles and what happened. It then jumps forward to 2019 and another member of the same family is the focus of the story and it all links back to what happened on the submarine. Scary but gripping read.
