This is the best story I have read in ages.
Strange how some books have the ability to grip you from the start and this is one of those.
I could well see the events unfolding in Norfolk and I could hear the waves crashing on the beach. This is odd for me to be able to do. Must have been well written.
Although there seemed a lot of characters involved in Norfolk I could relate to them all.
Toby seemed a good sort of guy and when his wife got dragged into all this it was a really stressful time for him. However he kept his head and was determined to find the truth against all the odds.
As in all these thrillers there were a number of twists and turns but I am really proud of myself. This is because I managed to sus out the baddie with about about 200 pages to go.
Perhaps I should be a copper!
