Even though this book was not my usual taste, I really got into it. I found it very informative, which really surprised me. It also made me realise how precarious our defence systems really are.
I thought it was very well written. The characters were well rounded, both as a family unit and individually. It almost made me feel like I was in the middle of the family and as involved as they were.
I liked Guths character. He was strong and assertive, yet soft and protective where his girls were concerned. The girls were great. Anyone would envy the relationship they had. Although they celebrated their differences, they were fearsley loyal to one another.
I am so pleased I won this book. I feel I have been educated by it. I would recommend it to anyone.
