Never judge a book by its cover, I loved this!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
This one was totally out of my comfort zone. The cover would never appeal to me, and reminds me of a book my dad would read.
HOWEVER #bookstagrammers we should never judge a book by its cover.
1983, and a submarine in in turmoil, following an order to start a nuclear war.
2 people refuse, one person dead, but do the missiles launch?
2019, and Lieutenant Guth is reliving the nuclear strike along with his family. Will the secrets under water be exposed, and what happens if they are?
I loved this book, plenty of twists and turns, secrets, suspense, love and hate, murder and history.
Definitely worth a read, and has highlighted reading some 𝓭𝓲𝓯𝓯𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓽 books. Highly recommend this and would love to read more from the author
