I was not really expecting to like this book, I’m not a fan of political/military thrillers usually. But this book was incredibly well written. From the start you’re sucked into the story. In this book we follow 2 timelines, a captain of a US submarine in the middle of the Cold War and a family member of one of those on board the submarine in 2019.
I honestly think if you don’t think this will be your kinda book you should try it anyway, the story slowly unravels itself, revealing more mysteries and more intrigue. I loved that I was left till the end trying to piece together what was truly happening. I also loved that the characters were so well written and the plot so we’ll devised. Highly recommend this book!
