This was overall a great book. I say surprisingly because this isn’t my normal genre at all. I wouldn’t have ever picked me a book off the shelf that’s around politics/nuclear war etc. I don’t have much knowledge on the subject and wouldn’t think it to be interesting. But I was wrong! I was so desperate from the start to actually find out what happened that day. I’m just not entirely happy with the way it was spelt out in the book, at some points I found it so confusing about who knew what and who had lied about what, I just thought, I’m sure i’ll Understand it all at the end. But I guess that’s the point of a thriller! Makes you keep reading to the end. I like the family drama and all the twists I wasn’t expecting. The end seemed a bit dramatic to me, and a few loose ends. I’m glad I won this and read it. Overall, a good thriller!
