The cover is quite representative of what it appears we should expect from the book - intelligent intrigue in ancient marble palaces.
There's a sense of the chase in it which evokes Dumas, whilst the main characters seem more at home in House of Cards. I certainly look forward to diving deeper into the plot, which hopefully will allow us to explore the eponymous spymaster in more detail.
