I loved this book! Books about books, and people that love books, are always lovely to read, especially a book set in a cosy higgledy piggledy bookshop like this one! I really wanted to visit it and could see why working there saved Loveday in a way. She was very well written and I loved how her storyline unfolded and how her back story was slowly unveiled. The book kept me up late reading engrossed by it, wanting to know the answers to the questions about what happened in her past and what will happen in the future. Will she ever share her poetry with anyone? I'd highly recommend this book and would love to read more from Stephanie Butland. I feel she writes very well and creates great characters.
