I really enjoyed this book. It took me a few chapters to get into it but I ended up loving it.
The narrative voice was as if Love day was really just talking to you which made it really easy to follow. I also enjoyed how the chapters visited different periods of her life instead of being in chronological order. It kept me hooked on the story and wanting to know more about Loveday.
I found her character intriguing and it was great seeing her open up as the book went on. there are times when she's frustrating as she doesn't realise her own worth but she overcomes such hurdles. Archie is such a loveable character and real father figure and a great character.
I would definitely recommend this book, it's really uplifting and inspiring however there are sensitive themes of domestic violence and children in care so be aware before you read.
I would give it 4.5 stars!
