'Lost for Words' - both the title and the effect it will have on you.
The fact that 'Lost for Words' is set in a book shop already places it high up in my regard - a book shop is one of my favourite places on earth, second only to a library.
This book is a dream come true for all major book fans. A homage to literature, both classic and new, it follows Loveday, a book-crazy introvert who many book fans can identify with.
It also covers major themes such as the foster system or domestic violence with the sensitivity it is due, and is yet somehow raw and honest, never shying away from the truth.
It captures a beautiful image of love, both romantic and familial, that is once again haunting in its honesty; there are no cliques here.
I absolutely loved reading this book and would go as far as to say that it is now one of my favourite books to date, not just because of the sensitivity to its important themes or because of its obsession with all things literature related, but because its also brilliantly written and highly entertaining. I thoroughly recommend.
