When you love books, what could possibly be better than a book set in a bookshop? I love the cover - it's bright, pretty and draws attention well. I'd definitely pick it out on a shelf if I was picking something to read.

Loveday Cardew works in Archie's bookshop - they're like a little family unit and she loves her job. We slowly find out bits of Loveday's past throughout the story, which make us understand her personality a little better. To start with I didn't particularly like her as a character but as we found out more about her past she definitely grew on me. I loved Archie and Nathan particularly but thought Stephanie wrote really strong characters all round. Everyone was very vivid to me which I love in a book.

The chapters were given titles such as 'poetry', 'history' and 'crime' which I also liked as it was a bit different to the usual chapters. I really enjoyed the story the whole way through and was disappointed when it finished! I was so emotionally involved that I actually cried at a certain part (I won't say which but I'm sure anyone that's read it will know!). I'll be looking out for another of Stephanie's book for sure.
