When I first saw this book pop up on the website, I couldn't contain my excitement because it looked so beautiful and the blurb sounded even better, I was hooked from the start and knew I had to have my very own copy.

Loveday works at the York book emporium (also known as Lost for Words) and has done since she was only fifteen. (Most would consider this the dream job, or at least it is mine.)
Her peace is always broken by a creepy ex named Rob who insists on posting roses through the bookshop door or leaving chocolates with Archie the owner of Lost for Words who says "books are our best lovers and our most provoking friends."

On her way to work one day Loveday comes across an abandoned book (I know right?!) And advertises it in the shop window in the hopes of reuniting it with it's owner who takes the shape of a magician cum poet named Nathan Avebury.

From here on out the book was a rollercoaster of emotions guaranteed to have you laughing out loud and crying profusely trying to keep it unnoticed by whoever you share your reading space with. It was a book I didn't want to put down and I was sad to reach the end because that is where the book hangover starts.

Typos (potentially)
Page 32: "people pack up their wares and go. But it did't work."

Page 206: "I gave him the box with the lemon meringue pie it."
