The book started in a way that made me think of some of the rose tinted and unrealistic chick lit found all too often on the shelves.
However I gave it a chance and continued reading, and much to my surprise it quickly evolved into a knowledgeable (about literature and books in general) and appealing storyline.
The main character is so closely interwoven with books that there is no description of her without something about a book as well, it provides a healthy mix of literature, humour and interesting characteristics.
Once the reader is familiar with the main characters the story develops an exciting twist, and this is where the fun really starts!
I was quite reluctant to read this at first as I didn't think it would be my sort of book. But in all honesty it's a story worth perusing and I'm glad to have found this little treasure!
