It appeared to be a bit slow in the beginning but managed to grab my attention and by the end, I just wanted to keep on going. The flashbacks in the story are a nice touch because it allows you as the reader to see how the relationship between Paul and Katie has developed from Katie’s perspective. However, I found them to be slightly frustrating, as I just wanted to read in the same tense/situation for a couple chapters before slipping to the past. All in all, I want to know what the secret is and if it will be predictable or a plot twist.
