I liked the cover, and although the idea of two friends agreeing to marry each other by a certain age if they have not found anyone else does not seem very original, I feel there is more to this book - an underlying and maybe sinister secret. I also like the references to the 1980s, which reflects my own childhood. I'd like to read the rest of this.
