Although it wasn't a particularly exciting story, I was pleasantly surprised by this book.
'Love Will Tear Us Apart' tells the story of husband and wife, Paul and Katie, and their journey from childhood friends to a nuclear family of four.
The book hints at a huge secret that Katie has, which is dangled in front of the readers the entire way through the book. Unfortunately, for me, the anticipation of the secret was a lot more interesting than the secret itself, which I found quite anticlimactic and thus lost a star in this review.
However, I thought the evolving of Katie and Paul's relationship was really beautiful to read; it reminded me a little of Alex and Rosie's relationship in Cecelia Ahern's 'Where Rainbows End'.
Overall, a lovely read.
