I'm going to start with the cover of this book because I love it. It's bright, colourful and interesting.
The story had twists and turns coming throughout until the end. There was a sense of something building from the beginning. I'm not sure if the ending completely lived up to the suspense built throughout the story however it was not disappointing.
All of the characters, especially that of Kate, were strong and relatable. The story was told from Kate's viewpoint and you felt as if you were going on the journey with her, reliving the past and feeling her pain.
It was easy to read and the story pulled you in from the beginning. It also leaves you reflecting on your own life, on the could have beens and what ifs.
