I’ve not read anything by this author but I really enjoyed her writing style so I will probably look at getting a couple of her other books.
First let me start with the cover - it instantly appealed and was really bright.
I liked the way the author switched between the different time zones and it really helped to create the suspense between wanting to know what was going on in the present day and having to wait to fill in the gaps from the past.
I felt like I got to know the characters well but perhaps not as well as I would have hoped - it didn’t make me cry or smile - it was just a nice read.
I’ve given it four stars purely because I was really excited to get to know what was in the letter but once it actually got to it, I thought it was a bit of a let down.
